Placement of Answers

Letter placement of the test answers (such as a, b, and c) have answer options that automatically/randomly switch positions — this is an important tenant of Universal Design for Assessment and high quality selected-response item writing. Thus, an actual response (and not a choice of a, b, or c in the online test administration) should be considered. The rotation of the answers is to help cut down on cheating should a student try and look at another student’s screen or answer sheet.
